ICC Cricket World Cup 2023

Fakhar Zaman expressed confidence that Pakistan will be ready to chase down a tough target of 402 runs to beat New Zealand in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, ahead of a rain-soaked Bengaluru on Saturday.  Put a twist in their quest for survival.

Fakhar Zaman showed an aggressive performance and scored an unbeaten 126 off 81 balls, which took Pakistan's score to 200-1.  They won by 21 runs using the DLS method, as rain stopped the match after 25.3 overs.

After a 90-minute rain delay, Pakistan got a revised target of 342 runs in 41 overs, with a total score of 1-160.

Richan Ravindra's third World Cup century and Kane Williamson's 95 helped New Zealand post a tough target of 401-6 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

This victory revived Pakistan's hopes of making it to the semi-finals.  However, they still need to win their next match against England in Kolkata on November 11 to consolidate their position.

With eight points from maximum matches, Pakistan will be eyeing Sri Lanka vs New Zealand in Bengaluru on November 9, hoping that a Sri Lanka win will improve their run rate.

Talented left-handed batsman Fakhar Zaman expressed his belief that Pakistan have the ability to chase down the target of 402 runs.  He praised the team's positive thinking and ability to adapt to changing circumstances which proved crucial in their victory.
