"South Africa's Temba Buma has struggled to find his form in the 2023 World Cup, but the team captain is confident he will regain his touch as they face table-topping hosts India on Sunday.  Will be ready for it.

While his fellow opener Quinton de Kock tops the batting charts with an impressive 545 runs in seven matches including four centuries, Bavuma has managed just 111 runs in five matches despite a promising start.

Bavama expressed his desire to make important contributions and highlighted the excellent form of other batsmen in the team.  He asserted that although he is going through tough times, he is confident that an opportunity will come for him to play an important role.

Bouma gains confidence from the support of his teammates and their support in the early stages of the tournament.  He mentioned the strong bond between the team's batsmen, which has developed over the past few years, which helps them through the highs and lows.

The upcoming match at Eden Gardens is a clash between the two top teams of the World Cup.  India have already qualified for the semi-finals by winning all seven of their matches, while a win against South Africa will ensure their place in the top four.

South Africa have batted first at an average of 375, but Bouma admitted that the Kolkata conditions may require more patience while focusing on ground shots.  The team will assess the conditions on the day of the match and adapt their strategy accordingly.
