"Indian cricket star Yuvraj Singh recently talked about the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy final where Pakistan played against India, led by Sarfraz Ahmed. This final match happened on June 18, 2017, at the Oval Stadium in London.
In the group stage of the tournament, Pakistan faced a defeat against India by 124 runs. However, in the final, Pakistan posted a massive total of 338-4 after being asked to bat first. Left-handed opener Fakhar Zaman played a key role with the century, scoring 114 off 106 balls that included 12 fours and three sixes.
Azhar Ali and former captain Muhammad Hafeez scored 59 and 57 runs respectively with the help of half-centuries. The Indian bowling attack including Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya and Kedar Jadhav managed to take one wicket each.
In response, Pakistan's fast bowlers, especially Mohammad Amir, wreaked havoc on India's top order by dismissing Rohit Sharma (0), Virat Kohli (5) and Shikhar Dhawan (21) one after the other. India's batting line-up struggled, with Hardik Pandya the only batsman to put up some resistance, scoring 76 off 43 balls with four fours and six sixes.
Apart from Mohammad Amir, Hasan Ali, who was named Man of the Tournament for taking 13 wickets, took three wickets and current vice-captain Shadab Khan dismissed two Indian batsmen.
In an interview, Yuvraj Singh, who scored 22 runs in the one-sided final, expressed his views on the fitness standards of cricket teams. He praised Pakistan's 2017 Champions Trophy-winning team against whom he played and cited teams like Australia, South Africa and New Zealand as other examples of high fitness levels in international cricket."
